On the invitation of the Government of Iran, Mr. Sudath Mahaadivulweva ,Chairman of the national Film Cooperation of Sri Lanka led delegation partcipated at the 43 rd Fajr International Film Festival(FIFF) 2025 held in Shiraz, Iran on 1-3 December 2025. Sri Lanka grabed the Crystal Simorgh for the Special Jury Award for Lalith Rathnayake’s “Riverstone” at this prestige annual international event. Mr. Lalith Rathnayake, renowed film Director was also present at the event for accepting the award on behalf of the entire film crew.
